Over the past few years, demand for renewable energy has been increasing around the world as fossil fuels sources are becoming scarcer and costlier. There is widespread consensus about the threat that emissions of green-house gases from the burning fossil fuels poses to the climate. Countries are now focusing on sustainable energy policy based on energy efficiency and inexhaustible renewable sources of energy such as sun, wind, water and biomass. At present renewable energy supplants conventional fuels in many distinct areas such as electricity generation, space heating, motor fuels, and rural off-grid energy services.

Milestone Consulting is committed to helping our clients resolve project management and contractual issues related to complex engineering and construction projects. We offer strategic project management support, contract and schedule risk management, contractual advice and techno-commercial support to organisations involved in the design, construction, installations and commissioning of renewable energy projects:

Solar PV Energy

Energy derived from the sun’s rays. The light and the heat provided by the sun is harnessed by photovoltaic solar panels and then converted into a more useful form of energy using special semiconductors.

Wind Power – Onshore / Offshore

Wind power is the conversion of wind energy received from the movement of the wind across the earth into a useful form of energy, such as using wind turbines to make electrical power.

Hydropower is the electrical power produced through the use of gravitational force of falling water. It is the most widely used form of renewable energy accounting for more than 16% of global electricity production.

Offshore Wave and Tidal Energy

Marine hydrokinetic energy comes from the energy contained in waves, tides, or ocean currents. The devices that harness this energy range from buoys, to clam-like shells on the sea bottom, to underwater versions of wind turbines.

Geothermal Energy

Geothermal energy is thermal energy generated due to the difference in temperature between the core of the earth and its surface. The super-heated water or steam from earth's interior is utilised in running the turbines of a power plant to generate electricity.
